We are excited about the humble beginnings of our new scholarship initiative. We have three $200 awards available.
Our belief is that every Muslimah deserves the chance to pursue her athletic dreams. This merit-based scholarship is dedicated to empowering Muslimah youth by providing financial assistance to help them participate and excel in sports. We want to support your passion and help you break down barriers on your journey to success.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be a Muslim female.
- Be between the ages of 13 and 25.
- Be involved in your community (seasonally or actively).
- Have a genuine passion for and commitment to a sport.
- Reside in the United States of America.
We encourage all who meet these requirements to apply. We are looking for individuals with a strong desire to grow, both as athletes and as leaders in their communities.

2. Written Essay (300-500 words)
Please tell us your story. In your essay, describe yourself, your passion for your sport and your involvement in your community. You can discuss topics such as:
- Why is this sport important to you?
- What have you learned so far from being a Muslimah athlete?
- How would this scholarship help serve and represent your community?
- How would this scholarship help you achieve your athletic goals?
3. Letter of Recommendation
Submit one letter of recommendation from a coach, teacher, or community leader who knows you well. The letter should speak to your character, involvement in the community, work ethic and dedication to your sport.
Selection Process
Our dedicated review panel will carefully review every complete application.
- Initial Review: All applications will be evaluated based on the criteria outlined above, including the applicant’s passion and commitment to their sport(s).
- Finalist Interviews: A select group of finalists may be invited for a brief virtual interview. This is a chance for us to learn more about you and your aspirations.
- Notification: All applicants will be notified of the panel’s decision via email within 6-8 weeks of the application deadline.
Scholarship Usage
If awarded, the scholarship funds are flexible to meet your athletic needs. The funds can be used for various sports-related costs, including but not limited to:
- Team or league registration fees
- Specialized training or coaching
- Sports equipment, uniforms, and gear
- Nutrition
- Travel expenses for competitions or tournaments
- Camp and clinic fees
