
Our running group is a seasonal program designed specifically adult Muslimahs who want to train for distance races while pursuing their fitness goals in an environment that respects their Islamic faith. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced runner/walker, we aim to provide a comfortable space where Muslimahs can connect, stay motivated, and achieve their personal milestones together.
We will meet the first Sunday of each month at 8am for a 60-minute run/walk (April 2026-August 2026). The locations may vary each month. Follow us on Instagram or Facebook for updates.

Experienced Coaching: Workouts are lead by a USATF Certified coach with 20+ years of running experience.
Monthly Scheduling: We meet in person the first Sunday of each month. This allows sisters to continue their personal workout plans around their busy schedule and still be part of an Islamic running community.
Community Building: Outside of our Sunday workouts, sisters from our group get together to do additional workouts.
No Registration/Fees: Working out with us is free. You are responsible for covering all costs associated with your fitness journey (shoes, workout clothes/gear, race fees, etc.)

By participating in our workouts (in person or following our training plans), you understand the inherent risks, including but not limited to potential injuries, environmental hazards, and adverse weather conditions, and voluntarily assume all risks associated with participating in these activities. You agree to release Modest Strides Inc. and its organizers, leaders, and volunteers from any liability for injuries sustained during workouts and related activities, loss or damage to personal property, and any other claims or causes of action arising out of your participation. You understand that you are responsible for your fitness and health and will consult a healthcare professional if necessary. You confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this waiver.
